Program Educational Objectives

PREPARATION : To provide strong foundation in mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals necessary to analyze, formulate and solve engineering problems in the field of computer science.
CORE COMPETENCE : To enhance the skills and experience in defining problems in computer science & engineering, design and implement, analyzing the experimental evaluations, and finally making appropriate decisions.
PROFESSIONALISM : To enhance their skills and embrace new computing technologies through self-directed professional development and post-graduate training or education.
SKILL : To provide training for developing soft skills such as proficiency in many languages, technical communication, verbal, logical, analytical, comprehension, team building,inter personal relationship, group discussion and leadership skill to become a better professional.
ETHICS: Apply the ethical and social aspects of modern computing technology to the design, development, and usage of computing artifacts.
Program Outcomes:

Engineering Knowledge : Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
Problem analysis : Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
Conduct investigations of complex problems : Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
Modern Tool Usage : Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
The Engineer and Society : Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
