Dr.V.Vijaya Chamundeeswari BE, M.Tech, Phd




Dr.V.Vijaya Chamundeeswariis the Professor and Head of the department. She has completed her BE from Kumaraguru College of Technology, Bharathiyar University, M.Tech from IIT, Madras and Phd from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. She has 23 years of teaching and research experience and she has published more than 30 papers in reputed journals and conferences. She is an approved research supervisor under Anna University, Chennai. Currently she is guiding ten Phd research scholars.

(a) To analyze, design and develop computing solutions by applying foundational concepts of Computer Science and Engineering.
(b) To apply software engineering principles and practices for developing quality software for scientific and business applications.
(c) To adapt to emerging Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to innovate ideas and solutions to existing/novel problems.
 
Program Outcomes
 
Engineering Knowledge : Ability to apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
Problem analysis : Ability to identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
Design of Solutions : Ability to design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
Conduct investigations of complex problems : Understanding of the problems that cannot be solved by straightforward application of knowledge, theories and techniques applicable to computer science and engineering.
Modern Tool Usage: Ability to create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
